The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) and the Colombian Cinema Showcase are proud to present the best in contemporary Colombian films. Every Sunday during the month of August, beginning August 5, 2010, these screenings at MOLAA will include a variety of features, documentaries, and short films that highlight the innovation and creativity of talented contemporary Colombian filmmakers. All films will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles.
The public is invited to attend the Colombian Cinema Showcase Opening Reception at MOLAA (628 Alamitos Ave) in Long Beach, California, on Thursday, August 5, 2010 at 7pm. The reception will include live music and a free screening.
Tickets will be $5 for museum members and $10 for non-members. Please check our website www.colombiancinema.org for ticket information and a detailed screening schedule.

Colombian Cinema Showcase is an international promotional space for Colombian filmmakers looking to show their work in different latitudes around the world. It is an event entirely produced by Colombians, who are passionate about cinema, arts and music and believe that through films, different communities can be united.
