Vicente Fern?índez is finishing 2010 - the 100th anniversary year of the Mexican Revolution and the 200th anniversary of Mexican Independence - on a high note.
The U.S. tour for the King of Rancheras launches on October 8. And preparations for this roadshow have been very promising. Two of his concerts at L.A.'s Gibson Amphitheater are already sold out, and he's begun selling tickets for three additional performances at the venue, which are scheduled for November 19, 20 and 21.
His tour announcement is just one of many accomplishments we can celebrate. On October 5, he releases his latest studio album, El Hombre Que M?ís Te Am?? (The Man Who Loved You Most). And his previous album, Necesito de Ti (I Need You), has just earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Ranchero Album.
Get your tickets while you can. There's no better way to celebrate the Bicentennial of Mexico than with this very Mexican "Vicentennial" concert!
