Los FabuLocos: A Marathon of Music and Dance!

A great time had by all who attended the release party of Los FabuLocos CD entitled "Dos".
Sunday the 27th of Feb. was supposed to be a cold and cloudy day and yet it was as if the weather tried to out shine Los FabuLocos.

The crowed lined up early ready to dance and buy their copy of "Dos." If they didn't purchase it on the way in, they took a copy home on the way out.

Big Manny Gonzales, Jesse Cuevas & Mike Molina all former Blazers, played some of the old songs they played through out the country while on tour.

The dancers took their place on the dance floor and strutted like no one else's business. They put on a fabulous show, with the exception of one guy who dropped his partner (alcohol-related, no doubt).

The moment of truth was at hand, time to perform the newly released CD song by song, start to finish.

"Everything Will Turn Out Alright" is the title of the first song on "Dos," and it did, from the first to the last song.

When it came to the last song, the band could not stop thanking their families, friends, record company, writers/critics, bartenders etc....

With plenty of time left on the clock for more music, and the band fired-up, it was time to celebrate!
The buckets of cold beer found their way to the bandstand by way of their beloved fans (friends). So without wasting any time and the dancers not willing to leave the floor, the party was on full-tilt to the end of the night.

Special guest appearances and outstanding performances were the order for the celebration and everyone brought their "A" game.

They played for 3.5 hours without a break, believe it or not; with plenty of witnesses.

After the last song people headed over to the merchandise table to pick up a CD; by the end of the show there was empty CD boxes on the floor

Los FabuLocos (Jesse Cuevas, Mike Molina, Kid Ramos & James Barrios) are known for their variety of musical styles, Roots Rock, Oldies, Corridos, Polkas, Cumbias, Country & Blues, they classify themselves as "Cali-Mex & Chicano Soul!

They have few dates in town before they to head out to Texas for CD release parties in Austin, Gruene Hall & San Antonio for "Fiesta" week celebration.
