Penelope Cruz received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last week.

Anderson Cooper will be honored with the 2011 Compa??ero Award at the Latino Commission on AIDS' annual fundraising gala Cielo Latino. The gala takes place on May 10th in New York.

According to new census data, the number of Puerto Ricans identifying themselves as black or American Indian has gone up 50% in the last decade.

Ecuador expelled U.S. ambassador Heather Hodges in response to a diplomatic cable leaked by WikiLeaks in which Hodges alleged that President Rafael Correa was aware of supposed acts of corruption by now retired police chief Jaime Hurtado Vaca.

Michael Buble and Luisana Lopilato tied the knot last week in Buenos Aires. According to news reports, the couple's Buenos Aires home was burglarized during the festivities.

Spanish police arrested Jose Carlos Serna, who escaped from police custody twice after his wife sent fake faxes ordering his release. Serna was discovered by authorities in his home in Madrid hiding in a hollowed out sofa.

The GRAMMY Awards announced the restructuring of several categories for the 54th GRAMMY Awards in 2012. Among the Latin categories, Pop, Rock and Urban have been combined to form one category with Alternative disappearing from the mix.
