It's been a while, but the giggles and the action still happen in the Land of 1000 Dances and beyond.
First, some giggles...
Even though some nasty tornadoes killed hundreds, and destroyed so much property in Alabama, that federal relief was brought in for the newest homeless so they won't be living in tents, cars, and rubble made shelters in the rain, some pendejo politician decides he's going to enforce some lame ordinance and prevent hundreds of people from living in temporary mobile homes brought in by FEMA.
In Cordova, Alabama, Mayor Jack Scott, an older, redneck looking mo~fo who's living off the fat of the land (i.e. taxes) himself, has decreed that the single-wide trailer shelters provided by FEMA are illegal in Cordova and has refused to let his homeless constituents (Victims & voters) live in them, even though he has allowed public services and business offices to use them...what is this pendejo thinking?
The good people of Alabama could learn a lesson from California....in 2003 when then Democratic Governor and U.S. Viet Nam Vet Gray Davis decreed he would be raising the state vehicle registration fees to help offset a state budget deficit, the genius Republicans got their chonies in a bunch and launched a recall election and kicked his culo out of there so we could get Arnold Schwarzenegger, a foreign born, unemployed actor who married into one of America's richest and politically connected families, and who didn't know #%@* about running a state...
...and after 2 terms, California is all screwed up, broke, with the highest taxes in the nation and the most threatened and ridiculed educational system, albeit one of the best for now, in the Country...but we do have some of the best FREE homeless programs in the nation that attract people from all over the World to cash in...so we can expect some Alabama immigrants to start getting off the buses soon in California, que no?
...don't you just love it when white folks catch the same $&*#@ we've been catching from white folks for years?
...don't know if all of that is a good lesson, but removing that pendejo from office where he'll have to get a REAL job sounds like a good start to me!
And I don't know about you L.A. sports fans, but I'm still a bit embarrassed that some Los Angeles punk cholos beat some poor San Francisco Giants fan almost to death at Dodger Stadium (more embarrassed about his mother, who was in Vegas partying, but insists on national TV the dude they caught, who has a violent history and was on parole from prison at the time of his arrest, wasn't even there!)...not to mention the asshole behavior a couple of million dollar a year plus spoiled Lakers displayed on national and world wide TV when they got whupped in the playoffs...no wonder we are in shape we in, in the sports world, and why we don't have an NFL team in L.A.
Sheesh!...no wonder adult acting men and women avoid sports bars lately!
Oh well...at least we got the best music and dancing in the land ... watcha:
