According to new data from the Pew Hispanic Center, the main driver of the growth of the Mexican-American population is now births, overpassing immigration. From 2000-2010 the Mexican-American population grew by 7.2 million from births and 4.2 million from new immigrant arrivals.

Crime:

Former Miss Honduras Belgica Suarez was arrested in Honduras after trying to enter the country with $47,000 dollars in cash that she did not declare. She faces charges of money laundering.
