The Sounds of Brown Soul, Funk, and Rock & Roll

Once again, the party's in San Fernando, at the historic American Legion Hall, where good-looking people go to get their boogie on in style, while honoring and supporting our noble U.S. military veterans of past and present generations.

This Saturday, August 13, Santa Barbara's exciting 10 piece ANTHONY PRIETO Band comes to town, bringing all the soul, rock, funk, and oldies groove that they've been rocking California's central coast with for many years.

An exciting and versatile dance/party band fronted by a hard hitting four-man brass section reminiscent of such exciting soul groups as EARTH, WIND and FIRE...CHICAGO...and TOWER OF POWER, and rivaling only the great current brass soul kickers BARELA, BALANCE, & BLOWIN SMOKE bands of L.A., the group features the smooth and sultry vocals of Anthony Prieto and the multi-talented Denise Herrera, bringing a total Southern California, West Coast music and dance experience that also includes soulful oldies and hot bouncing Latin Soul and cumbias for your dancing & partying pleasure.

This one AIN'T for spectators, baby !

Hosted & DJ'd by Internet Radio's FRANKIE FIRME of the East L.A. Revue and Chicano Express, the party starts at 7 pm with food, happy hour, and mixing with the great party folks and Veterans of the San Fernando Valley and kicks chancla till past midnight.

Free parking, full service bar, large dance floor, food, hot live music, and a great time in air conditioned comfort. ..all brought to you by The San Fernando Valley Marine Corps League, the San Fernando American Legion, LatinoLA.com, the East L.A. Revue, and BUDWEISER THE KING OF BEERS.

Donation is only $10.00, and all proceeds directly benefit the veterans and programs of the San Fernando Valley's Marine Corps League and the San Fernando American Legion.

Why waste gas traveling to Vegas or the casinos when the party's right here in the Land of 1000 Dances?

See YOU there!...and bring your dancing chanclas !
