Welcome to another edition of Chicano Highlights with your host Robert "El Beto-man" Tijerina. We are very proud to have Becky Cordova, from the San Fernando Valley as our guest.
This is a short discussion with Ms. Becky regarding aspects of her life experiences: Her wonderful children, family and friends; about her 22 years driving 18-wheeler tractor-trailer for work and pleasure; about her cancer remission and women's need for regular health screening; her inspirations; and about Ms. Becky Cordova's career as a song writer, vocalist and recording artists with some of the Southern California musical talent.
Ms. Becky is a brave and wise woman and it is an honor and pleasure to be acquainted with her. She is singing to make people happy. Becky Cordova (short) Biography: Becky's parents, originally from Oklahoma, settled in the Antelope Valley near Palmdale. Ms. Becky was born and raised in Southern California. After graduating from high school, Becky married and had three children (and now two grand-children). She owned and operated a trucking company and recently retired after 22 years of safe-driving. Becky has endured chemotherapy and radiation treatments related to her health issues. She is a wonderful vocalist and artist on the stages in greater Southern California area. Currently, Becky is writing her own songs and recording in-studio with some of the finest musicians in the Land of 1000 Dance.
